Justin Timberlake - O2 Arena

Review by Joe Cohen

"Gonna rock your body, night and day" is not just a lyric for Justin Timberlake - it's a promise. There was not a single booty touching velvet last night at the O2 as Timberlake sang, danced, rapped, played and cavorted through his 2.5hr set.

The 'LoveSexy' show is a true mix of RnB, Hip Hop, Broadway Musical and Performance Art in a theatre-in-the-kind-of-round setting that gave all 23,000 attendees a taste of the man and his music. Timberlake, who's bedded more starlets than Howard Hughes, electrified the audience throughout the entire evening and the sight of the entire audience on their feet for the duration of the night was a truly shocking experience. While I've respected his game, I've never been a huge JT fan but he turned me last night. The man has mad skills.

Tangentially, the O2 is the best large music venue in Europe, full stop. After all the cash and kafuffle over the dome, this venue stands out for providing a premium live experience in every way. For those who haven't made the trip yet - you should and your expectations will shift permanently. With the O2 and coming Olympic development it's becoming easy to imagine the hub that East London will soon become.

What an amazing show, JT can really sing... and he plays the piano which I never knew, he inspired me as I play the piano. Everyone was amazing especially Fergie, that was a BIG surprise, what an amazing show! JT did a wicked job!

We loved the show, but I think that we got ripped off with the price that we paid for the tickets! They where £250 each and we got seats way back in the corner on level 4!! Those seats weren't even worth £50! I could've saved £200 and bought the standing tickets and enjoyed the show more!
