My son's first Premiership match - 3-0 to the Arsenal and Watford were lucky to get nil. Being 10 it was the perfect game for Adam to attend since his near peer Theo Walcott made his first start for Arsenal. Theo showed some evidence of why the Professor paid £12m for him, but he needs to eat some more of the Arsenal hot dogs to prevent himself from being pushed over.
Ben Foster in goal apart, Watford were poor and should have borrowed gunnersaurus's canon to pump the ball into the air to save their boots, to quote a former pundit the ball had to be stretchered off at half time.
Once again the crowd seemed more interested in warming up their Ashley Cole abuse songs for Chelsea's visit and the match in general had an air of the phoney war about it. However Arsenal press on and we are delighted to be up there with quality teams like Bolton and Portsmouth.
Allez les rouges!!
